What are website templates?

Website templates are pre-designed websites which only need the customer’s graphics and contents inserted (customisation). By using a website template for your site, you can have the job completed quickly and at a fraction of the cost of a website created from scratch.

What is domain registration?

In order to make your new website be found online, you need to register a name to point there. A domain name is essentially a signpost on the Internet.
Almost every website you've ever been to, and every email you've ever composed, has used a domain name in its address. For example www.yourdomain.com or www.mydomain.ie.
Dabko will register your domain for you when you sign up to a website package. Domain names are renewed on an annual basis.

What does template customisation mean?

When you decide to purchase a website template package, our design team at Dabko will insert all your companies’ text, imagery, logos and colour schemes.

Why do I need web hosting?

Web hosting is essentially your websites online parking space. This “parking space” fee is renewable annually. Depending on the amount of traffic going through your website, you can select from two levels of service.

Is it not better to order a website from a regular web site design provider?

Dabko Print & Design are the exact same as all the other design studios out there. We too can produce unique custom websites for large amounts of time and money. However, we also see that many new and small companies are paying way over the odds when it comes to a good quality online presence.

What is ‘site content’? How do I write site content?

Site content is the text substance and information within a website. In order to help clients along with writing their website content, we email everyone our website content  helper, which gives you practical ideas as to writing suitable text for your new website.

How long does a website take to complete?

The length of time a website takes to complete all depends on how prepared our customer is.
For example, someone who comes to us with, a colour scheme, text content, imagery (digital) and a website template number should have their website complete, ready for launch within 1 week. Whereas some one who has none of the above can take many, many weeks.

Can I arrange to meet one of Dabko’s graphic designers?

Yes you can. Every one who signs up to one of our website packages can meet with our designers during the project. All meetings are by appointment only.
