If
you are having printing carried out by Dabko Print Design, please read the
terms and
conditions below. These apply to all orders, no matter how big or
small.
Quotes
All quotes that are prepared are available
for 30 days only. A quote is not a contract with Dabko print design. Prices are
subject to change.
VAT
All prices, unless explicitly expressed, are
excluding vat at 21.5%. Please note this as negotiations are not entertained
upon final payment of bill.
Lead Times
All our standard printed materials are
available with a lead time. This time frame denotes the length of time between
proof of art work to collection from our Sligo office. For custom jobs, we will
provide you with a lead time once the project has being researched from our
side. Please note: Lead times are set as we do not physically print the goods
ourselves. If you require material printed very quickly, we provide a 24 hour
digital print facility here.
Payments
All print jobs are 50% deposit upon the
start of the job, with 50% due upon collection. No exceptions. We accept
cheque, credit/debit cards and cash.
Design charges
Minimum charge for design is €40.00 ex vat.
This is for all and any design time that has our designers occupied. This
includes any experimental work.
Art work
If you are supplying art work to Dabko print
design, print ready, all must be set up with appropriate bleeds, be in PDF
format and be of 300 dpi resolution.

A design charge applies to all jobs without proper artwork. See Design charges above
Customers Content
Dabko print design take no liability for
content supplied which may infringe on any copyright or trademark laws. If you
decide to plagiarise someone else’s work for the benefit of your business, you
do so at your own risk.
All content, both written and visual, must
be supplied to us on digital format only – email, disk, memory key etc. A
charge of €20.00 applies for A4 pages of tying (double side). A charge of €5.00
applies to all pictures for scanning.
Proofs
All art work for print, once designed, must be proofed by the client. The proofing process
confirms the following: Spelling – unless you have paid for
a content writer, we cannot accept responsibility for spelling mistakes. Our
software does not perform spell checks either. Design – No elements of design can
be changed once sent to print Quantity – When proofing, we ask the
client to confirm the quantities for order.
We accept an email or written letter as
confirmation of proof. No refunds or reprints are given after a final approved
design has gone to print. Please read all text carefully as Dabko will not be
liable for spelling mistakes or omitted information.
Delivery
All our prices for printed products are for
collection from our Sligo office on O’Connell Street. For goods delivered
directly to customers homes/premises, courier charges apply, which are
calculated upon order. Returns are customer’s responsibility. Minimum delivery
charges of €12.00 (we only use couriers as postal system is unreliable)
Print Over Run
From time to time, print over run does occur
on a print job. In these cases, we may contact you to offer the additional
prints at a discounted rate. You are under no obligation to accept these;
however, they are generally priced very well.
Time Lines
Once a customer has paid a deposit for a
printing job, the client has a maximum of 1 week to get the content to us. Any
longer delays than this will result in a cancellation of the project and a charge,
to be deducted from the deposit, for time wasted.
Claims
All claims or issues with print orders must
be reported to Dabko Print Design within 3 days of receipt of order (or within
28 days of non-receipt of order). If you have accepted an order and discovered
there is a problem, contact us immediately. If you have used the product, then
decide a few days in, with stock used, that there is an issue; there is nothing
we can do for you.
If there has being a problem with the print that concerns the quality of the
print, the condition of the printed goods or wrong specifications as agreed,
Dabko Print Design will have a re-print ordered.
Dabko Print Design is not responsible for
spelling mistakes or design issues, once the job has being proofed. (See Proofs)
Refunds
Once a project has been designed in full
according to the agreed upon project, no refunds are given after design has
been approved. If more than the agreed upon number of layouts is provided along
with revisions no deposit is refunded. If print colour is poor, once brought to
our attention (see Claims) your
order will be reprinted for you at no cost. Refunds for shipping and printing
are not given.
